
A dry dish made with okra or lady fingers.
Ingredients
200g of small bhindi(okra/lady fingers) with ends removed
½ sliced onion
½ teaspoon of cumin seed, turmeric, garam masala
Salt and fresh green chilli (sliced) to taste
2 heaped teaspoons of gram flour
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 heaped teaspoon of ginger garlic paste
Method
Add the spices to cold oil and bring to a heat until the spices begin to fry
Add the onion and increase the heat whilst stirring to prevent sticking
As the onion starts to change colour, add the bindhi and immediately sprinkle the gram flour over and stir
Cook for no longer than 5 minutes and add salt and chilli to taste
Cook for another minute and turn off the heat
